Although Clark has yet to formally announce a bid for the nomination, his speech at the DNC last Friday and his attendance at this forum suggests he is definitely running.
Nevada is a key state with the primary scheduled to take place immediately after Iowa next January.
Clark was also in Nevada last week, speaking at a dinner organised by local Democrats.

Wes Clark at DNC Winter Meeting
"I'm a soldier and I'm fighting for our country."
Wes Clark spoke today the Democratic National Committee Winter Meeting, a key platform for candidates and potential candidates. Clark is yet to confirm a run for the nomination, although we are getting reports that he will make his decision known in the next 2 weeks.
It sounded very much like candidate's speech, and if that is any indication, his decision will be a "Yes, I'm running."
Much of Clark's speech was focused on the Iraq war, and the failure of the Bush Administration in "taking us to an unnecessary war."
Clark also have a good list of his credentials on foreign policy. In a clear effort to distinguish himself from other candidates, he said that he was the only person to take the podium today who has actually the things needed to succeed in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world.
Clark also raised domestic issues, and talked about getting equality, justice, balance and fair play back in America.
He made a pitch on equality for women in the workplace, spoke about the lack of basic health insurance, and the fact that millions in America still live in poverty.
"I believe in an America that lives not in fear, but in confidence."
Yes indeed, it was a campaign speech.
